Finland Ranked 9th Most Peaceful Country in the World

Finland has been ranked the 9th most peaceful country in the world, according to the latest Global Peace Index.
The ranking measures safety, security, and the level of conflict in 163 countries. Finland improved by one place compared to last year and remains among the world's top 10 most peaceful nations.
Iceland kept the number one position for the 19th year in a row. New Zealand, Switzerland, Ireland, and Austria were also among the highest-ranked countries.
The report says that peace is declining in many parts of the world as the number of conflicts continues to increase. Researchers also warned that drones and new technologies are playing a growing role in modern warfare.
Despite global tensions, Finland continues to be recognised as one of the safest and most stable countries in the world.
