RACIST STICKER GIVEN TO 4-YEAR-OLD GIRL ON FINNISH TRAIN

A disturbing incident on a Finnish train has raised concerns about racism targeting children.
A passenger travelling from Lahti to Helsinki said she saw a man give a four-year-old girl a sticker linked to the far-right Blue-and-Black Movement.
The sticker reportedly carried the message “Sukupuutto vai paluumuutto”, which translates roughly as “extinction or repatriation.”
The passenger, Juliana Musto, took the sticker from the child, tore it up and confronted the man. She said the man responded with a racist comment about immigrants.
Musto said the incident also upset another young woman on the train, who began crying. She said children should be able to travel and grow up in Finland without being exposed to racist messages.
According to Familia, a group supporting multicultural families, reports of racist incidents involving children have become more frequent. Yle said it could not independently verify all details of the incident.
